Caroline Quiner is a young girl living in the early eighteen fifties.She and her family are boarding a teacher  for a term. While boarding the teacher, Mrs. May, they have lots of fun and meet some new settlers, the Ingalls family. If you have or haven't read the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and want to read about some more books about Laura's family, you might like this book. It is a great book!
