The Good Dog

The Good Dog is about a dog named McKinley. When a wolf comes into town to recruit the town's dogs to her diminishing wolf pack, McKinley has a decision to make. The wolf makes him think about what his life would be, running with his ancestors, while the other side of him tells him to stay to take care of his "pup", his young master named Jack. What will he decide? What will he do to satisfy the wolf, and be loyal to his master? Find out in The Good Dog.

I just borrowed this book from the library, and finished it in the space of 1 to 2 days. It's REALLY good! I think that AVI is brilliant!:):):)

I love this book! It manages to be an amazing story while not being overly anthropromorphic!

This book is great. I think Avi did a pretty good job of making the book feel like it was from the dog's perspective.
