Lost in the Barrens
by Farley Mowat
This is a great survival tale about Jamie, a white boy, and Awasin, a Cree native, who crash their canoe while away from home. The boys collect food and make a shelter and stay lost in the barrens for quite a while. They fight wild animals and endure blizzards. And when they say it's time to go home, it's easier said than done.
A great tale of survival and friendship. Great for adventure lovers.

Love this book! It's a really great survival tale, Usually i don't like survival stories, and they're usually one person, but this one is awesome!!
