I don't know what to think of My Side of the Mountain. I read a segment of it with my class (Halloween) and I checked out the book. However, I had no time to read it because of school work. I take GT (Gifted and Talented) courses, along with most of my school friends. It's really hard sometimes. I'm in fifth grade doing sixth grade work, and sixth graders get more time to do the work because in sixth grade, you get home earlier. Anyway, back to My Side of the Mountain. I think the Halloween segment was "OK" but I would have to read the rest of the book to rate it; thus, there are no crickets filled in on mine. GO READERS!!!
