Cricket Readers Recommend

The House of Dark Shadows begins with the King family moving into an old "haunted" house. The house, while not being haunted, certainly is odd. It has a special set of doors on the top floor that portal you to another time and place. There is a closet that opens up into a locker at the school in town, and the story of the former owner that killed his wife and two children. The Kings are in for a lot of trouble.  

This book is really well written and will addict you after the first chapter!
