Double Identity
by Margaret Peterson HaddixThis book is about a girl named Bethany. Her life used to be perfect. Her parents loved her and cared for her. But then her mom started crying, all the time, and her dad seemed worried almost always. One day, out of the blue, they all pack their bags and get in the car and her father drives them away from their hometown in Pennsylvania. Bethany has no idea where they are going; she only knows that they are far, far away from Pennsylvania. Then her parents drop her off with a mysterious aunt that she never even knew she had, and they left. She doesn't know where they are going. At night she hears her aunt on the phone having hushed conversations with her Bethany's father. Bethany knows her family is keeping secrets from her, and she is determined to find out. But what will happen when she does? If you like mysteries, this is a perfect book for you.
