Is the story sad? It sounds like it might be!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I am a huge fan of giraffes, and all animals. Anyone who liked this should know that there is a sequal, Dolphin Song.

I loved Dolphin Song, but I was hurt at all derogatory comments about vegetarians.

Ipp. I change my mind about my comment. I don't love this book; I like
it. That's all. And I've read the 3rd book, too, now. It's just... repetitive. The books are so similar. And the MC is boring, and it's mind candy, and... well, I'm not sure these books are so great after all. I'm beginning to think that this is one of those books I only think I love because I envy the characters so much. Like Warriors. Anyway... yeah.
Which must, I suppose, be the reason I didn't notice the 'derogatory comments about vegetarians.' Or else I've forgotten. Because that usually offends me, too... Ah, well. Not that I'm not used to it by now... *despises current school*
But I still read these books, even though I don't particularly like them, because I, well... I do envy the main character. Not that that's a reasonable excuse for reading a book, but who needs an excuse to read, anyway?

I give it 3 bugs bcuz I haven't finished it yet. I had no idea there was a sequel...I always read books for the 1st time many years after they come out.
