"Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli is about a girl (Stargirl) that is new to a boy's school. Everyone thinks she's weird, from singing "Happy Birthday" to random people at lunchtime while playing her banjo to having a pet rat. But then when the boy follows Stargirl home from school one day, he becomes to come closer to her and learn more about her and her life. Will Stargirl and the boy become good friends? What will happen? Read this book to find out!

A pretty good book. Nicely written, good ending. Spinelli got inside a teen's head scary-well.

Great Idea to recomend this book! I found it some time ago in some old boxes in my Aunt's attic and read it imediatly! It was so good, I practically chewed it up! READ IT!

LaughingWhat an amazing book! My friend gave it to me, i read it right away. Stargirl is an amazing character, and i don't get what is wrong  with cheering for an other team. when another person gets first place in my competitions i cheer for them...

I read Stargirl recently, and I really liked it. The ending's a bit sad though.

I love the Jerry Spinelly books, and Stargirl is no exeption. This book is nicely written with many unique details like: She was today, She was tomorow and that whole part.

I really liked the 1st book, Stargirl, but not the 2nd one, <3 stargirl. I think that <3 stargirl was just full of lazy writing, it was SO boring.

Read it. Stargirl isn't her first name!!!

I agree that Love, Stargirl wasn't as good. But I still liked it. Whoever likes this book should read other Jerry Spinelli reads. (Eggs, Milkweed, Maniac Magee) I loved all of them!
