The Valley of the Wolves

This is a great book! It is about a girl who goes away to the Tower to learn magic. There is only one other student there, a six foot tall elf. Through the book Dana (the girl) learns about the Tower and the Wolves that control the valley at night.

This is a great book except I think that Dana is a little stupid because she screams while her horse is galloping, even though she's owned one for five years and ought to know better.  (It could spook the horse).  Also she's irresponsible because she disobeys a very important rule and gets another person very hurt and could have killed herself.  But apart from those things, this is a very, very, good book.
