A Whale of the Wild is an amazing book about a young orca named Vega and her brother Deneb who are on a mission to find their family after an earthquake. On their journey they encounter orcas from different pods, polluted waters, sharks, and starvation. Even after finding plentiful salmon, in the broken ocean nothing is what it appears to be. I really enjoyed this book and hope you will too.
