If you like dogs and dog stories, you are sure to love this book. One dog and his boy tells the story of a rich boy who has everything you could want, but all he wants is a dog. For his birthday, because his mom refuses to buy him one, his dad rents a dog. The two fall in love, and when their time is up, the boy will stop at nothing to get his dog back. This story is really good, and it is by Eva Ibbotson, and if you have ever read one of her books, you know that she was an amazing writer and this book will be good. I hope you like this book!
