Johnny Tremain
by Esther ForbesRight before the American Revolution, Jonathan Lyte Tremain a.k.a. Johnny Tremain is caught in all the action of civil disobedience, and meets up with Sam Adams, John Hancock, and Paul Revere. He is an apprentice silversmith, but after a serious accident, he can't continue anymore. He goes to work for the printers of the Boston Observer and begins participating in the patriotic cause. In spite of all this, what is the most amazing is the discovery Johnny makes with his own life.
