The Tail of Emily Windsnap

by Liz Kessler

This is a great book with a girl who' s so afraid of water that she never took a bath ( just showers) and never went swimming--but she lives on a boat!!! So Emily begs her mom for swim lessons, and her mom gives in, but then something weird happens.

There are two sequels by the way.

Well, I read the third one, and it was a little dumb. There was all this stuff about them spending all their time putting makeup on and stuff, so it was sort of fake sounding. But it was OK.

You should start in order. It's a little easier to understand if you read them in order. I've read the first book, and I have the third but I haven't read it yet, because I want to read it in order. Try reading the first. I think it would make more sense, and you might think it is a little better.

Good Idea. I don't have anything against the book, I was just sharing my opinion.

That is OK. It's good to have different views on the book.

I agree. I've read them all and you should read them in order.

The series was slow at times, but still good. The third book was pure slowness. Even the climax was slow.

I haven't read the third book or second book yet, but I thought the first one was very good!!!

i really like it so far. I'm on the 1st but from your predictions on how lame it's gonna be, I now know that the climax is slow.Cool

What do you mean by "dumb"? Even if there was some stuff about makeup, there wasn't a whole lot! Of course, I thought the first book was the best because that was when Emily found out she was a mermaid, but this book wasn't that bad!

I love this book !! It's so good. The third one isn't as good as the first two but its still pretty good. You should read them in order.

I totally loved this book! I really liked how Liz Kessler (the author) described everything in such a detailed way. It was really neat how Emily just found out that she was half-mermaid after so many years! Mr. Beeston and King Neptune are so mean!

This book was very enjoyable because I can relate to how Emily was confused and fascinated with many things in the world of merpeople. I went through the same experience when I moved from California to the other side of the country--Massachusetts!

I would recommend this book to anyone (especially girls who like light suspence and excitement)!

I'm glad you enjoyed this book. Since you enjoyed this book so much you could try reading the other two sequels! :) Mr. Beeston is mean and scary. Enjoy!!!
