The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle
by AviThe True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle is a novel set in the 1800's. Charlotte, a girl living in England, is moving with her family back to America, where she was born. Her father wants her to finish school first, so her family goes ahead and Charlotte's father gives her a journal to record the happenings on her journey. This book is really exciting, and I really didn't expect the ending. Avi is a really great author. I give it five chirps.

This is a great book. Not only is it the best thing Avi ever wrote, it has tall ships! What more could you ask?

I'm reading a book called Never Mind by Avi. Do you think that's the same author?

It probably is the same author; Avi isn't a very common name. However, don't assume ANYTHING about The True Confessions Of Charlotte Doyle until you've read it. Avi can write almost anything -- you never know what she'll come up with. I will say that this is a very great book. I also love The Good Dog and Blue Heron by the same author.

This book is so good!!!!!!!! Avi is SUCH a talented author! The ending is kind of bittersweet, but I still love it. I just love books with teen girl heroes! Avi writes many other books, such as Crispin and the Poppy series, just to name a few. If you want to find a great book, find one with his name on it!

I read this book for class and I thought it was pretty good! I also read Crispin by Avi. I think that he's a pretty good author. The ending was a bit unexpected, though.
