This book series is great! It is about this criminal mastermind named Artemis Fowl. He, at the age of 12, has captured Captian Holly Short and kept her hostage. Holly Short is a fairy (an elf, to be exact). But, she is not your ordinary fairy. The People (as that is what these fairies are called) are not the granting-wishes, sparkles and pixie dust fairies. Holly Short is a crime fighter, ready for any action that the LEPrecon might give her. And, she is the first ever female in the recon ranks, not to mention being a captain. I assure you, Artemis Fowl is an amazing book! Don't miss out on this book, or any other of Artemis and Holly's adventures!
