Pride and Prejudice is a classic story about love in the strangest of forms. Elizabeth Bennet, the second oldest of five sisters, is the daughter of a not-so-rich, goodnatured man. His wife, whose biggest dream is that her daughters will marry into fortune, hears of a handsome, wealthy young man who is visiting in town. Mr. Bingley, as he is called, agrees to attend a party held at the Bennets' estate. He and his friend, Mr. Darcy, are quite eye-grabbers because of their good looks. But they seem to be complete opposites! Mr. Bingley is well-mannered and kind, when Mr. Darcy is outright rude and discourteous. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy feel great dislike for each other after the gathering, but after a while, Mr. Darcy begins to look at her in a new light... It's a wonderful story full of deceit, romance, and surprising twists. I recommend reading this novel--you will not be disappointed!
