Cricket Readers Recommend

When Cory's father dies her whole world turns upside down. Now the only man in her life is her older brother Sonny. When he is drafted for the Vietnam war, it gets even worse. (I cried at this part.) Now with her father & brother gone she only has her mother. Then when school starts, she meets her new highs chool history teacher. He is the only person she can look up to. Read the book and find out the rest. I absolutley loved this book, but I would recomend to only 5th graders & up. Don't read it unless your ready for a good cry.
