Cricket Readers Recommend

Inside Out and Back Again is about a girl named Ha, her mother, and her brothers.  Ha's father is fighting in the Vietnam War, and they don't know where he is.  She doesn't know English and is getting teased at school.  She has to turn to her neighbor for help.  I liked this book because it's not like other books -- it's in poems.  The poems are really easy to understand, but it is probably for kids in third grade and up. My favorite characters are Ha and Miss Washington.  Ha is a girl from Saigon and she narrates the story.
