Saving Lilly

This is an inspiring story about a sixth grade class that must raise eight thousand dollars in three weeks in order to buy a mistreated circus elephant, Lilly, and send her to an elephant sanctuary.  It has a likable main character who does what's right, even if it means disobeying her teacher.

I have read this and I think that Erin (is that the main character's name?) is very strong-minded about what she thinks is right and wrong.
