A Series of Unfortunate Events

by Lemony Snicket

I loved this book!Laughing (Well, this series actually)! It pulls you in before you have a chance to breathe! I probably only took a month to read it! My favorite book was The Vile Village. I won't tell you why, because its a surprise. Good luck reading! Bye!

I really like this series. It's about these three orphans and all of their adventures. They are very funny! Many tragic events befall the orphans but they are put in a humorous light. If you like sarcasm, read these. I agree that The Vile Village is one of the best. I also like The Austere Academy and The Slippery Slope. By the way, Lemony Snicket is a pseudonym for Daniel Handler. I hope he writes more stuff!!! Smile

These books are great, but AARGH! The Vile Village is the only one I don't have :(. Oh, well. I'll try and find it somewhere so I can read it. My favourite (so far) was The End, but I can't believe Friday died! She was one of my favorite characters! And so was Kit Snicket :(, and Justice Straus :( :(! But again, oh well.

These were great! And so funny! But... you said you were sad when Friday died? The only ones I got really worked up over were Kit and, more especially, Olaf. Count Olaf was awesome.

Well... I didn't get especially sad, but... sadder than I normally would be o'er a book character. It

It's not like I cried or anything...

Count Olaf does rock but I'm glad that he dies. I like the character Esme. Carmalita is funny!!

*grin* Esme's fun, that's true. LS is just exquisite with his subplots.

Yeah, I loved these books! They were hilarious! I was rolling around on the ground laughing.

I have read The Latke That Couldn't Stop Screaming! Oh my gosh, too funny! And Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography, was hilarious, plus it answers a bunch of stuff about VFD.

Andy (spam message thingy) says: ogex.

He seriously NEEDS to make another sequel!!! About after they return home. They come home, join up with old friends, and tell the baby everything (as to avoid their same fate). They retrace their steps, and tart up the secret club again with the triplets!!! I tried making it, but just don't have that Snicket Style!! Do any of you know how to reach Mr. Snicket?
