Dinnie's "first life" consists of living in diffrent small towns all around the USA with her family. Then she goes to live in Switzerland with her aunt and uncle. The culture, her new friends, and the experience of being away from her normal surroundings profoundly changes he way Dinnie sees the world around her for the better.

COOL, I love Sharon Creech but I didn't read this one, I'll probably reserve it at the library. Did you read Ruby Holler or Chasing Redbird?
