Harry Potter

by J. K. Rowling (Joane Kathleen Rowling)

This books are great! At first I thought they sounded kind of weird, but when I bought one I thought it was really good. It is about a boy named Harry Potter who is adopted by his horible aunt and uncle and he can do really strange things. Then a mystical letter arives and soon after that he learns he is a wizard! Read all of the books of Harry Potter to find out about all his adventures at Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry while he battles with the altimate dark lord. My favorite one of these books is Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Askaban book 3.

Smile I personally really liked these books.Frown Except that in like every book at least one character died. And some of the ones that died were really good characters. Some of the ones that died were some of my favorite characters, like Sirius Black.

Yeah, here's a list:

HPatSS: Quirrell.

HPatCoS: Tom Riddle, sorta. Well not really. Just another horcrux part of him really.

HPatPoA: Nobody really dies in that one, but it does talk alot about people who had died.

HPatGoF: Cedric Diggory, Barty Crouch Jr.

HPatOotP: Sirius Black.

HPatHBP: Albus Dumbledore.

HPatDH: I forgot the name of her, grrrr. You know, the one floating above the table at the "meeting" of the death eaters? Mad-eye Moody, Scrimgouer, Ted Tonks, Colin Creevy, Fred Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, Nymphadora Tonks (well actually in this one it would be Nymphadora Lupin), Remus Lupin, And I saved the best for last! Voldemort! I'm sure there's more, but that's all i can think of.

Who is Charity Burbage?

She taught Muggle studies, but Voldemort murdered her because she considered Muggles to be actual people with thoughts, minds, feelings, lives, and rights of their own, and taught her students the same. He wanted wizards to think that Muggles were vermin, so he replaced her with a Death Eater. I think her name was Alecto Carrow, or was that her brother?

Charity Burbage is the Muggle Studies teacher we never hear about until the 7th book, when Voldemort captures her and puts those Death Eaters whose names are fleeing my mind right now in charge instead. Amycus! Amycus and Alecto Carrow!

You forgot Hedwig. And in Tales Of Beedle The Bard, a lot of people die, and Arnold's death is mentioned in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

Wait a minute...what about Stan Shunpike? I thought he died.

Also, didn't Grindelwald die too? (I'm not sure about this one.)

And Lavender Brown.

Come on people, this thread is dying again, to simulate this thread i will ask a question, here it is

What would you think if JKR wrote a book about Albus Sevres Potter or Scorpius Malfoy, what do you think it should be about???

I think JKR should write about Albus, because  just look at that name: Albus Sevrus, then add Potter on the end of it, that kid has a lot to live up to, serously, he has the names of the boy who lived in there, the supposed dark wizard that turned out to be good , and the best headmaster that hogwarts has ever had ( according to Hagrid, and i agree with him), people are going to expect great things from him, and he will have to rise to the occasion. I'v got loads of ideas of what the book should be about, what should happen(i.e. the former death eaters are comeing out again and trying to take over the worldd and carry out vodemort wishes, then Albus has to stop them.......) so if you want to know what i think just tell me and i will

i hope this makes this thread active again :)

I'm assuming you mean "stimulate" and not "simulate"...

I think that while a book about Albus Severus Potter would be interesting, the author would have to come up with a very good plot line to overcome the whole "Chosen One" thing. Like, you know, this one person has no idea who they are, and then suddenly they do something and they're famous...

And if a book like that was written, something more than Death Eaters Revived would have to happen, I think. It would just be old stuff to fight of Death Eaters AGAIN...

Yes, I hope it makes this thread active again too.

Yes, I did mean stimulate. I can't  spell to save my life. I did not really think the death eater thing was very good, i just wanted it to create conversation. Albus would definitely know who he was. But there has to be some conflict. I think it should be between good and evil, but that's just me.

Write more later, have to go.
