by J. K. Rowling (Joane Kathleen Rowling)This books are great! At first I thought they sounded kind of weird, but when I bought one I thought it was really good. It is about a boy named Harry Potter who is adopted by his horible aunt and uncle and he can do really strange things. Then a mystical letter arives and soon after that he learns he is a wizard! Read all of the books of Harry Potter to find out about all his adventures at Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry while he battles with the altimate dark lord. My favorite one of these books is Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Askaban book 3.

Yeah, it's sooooooooooooo sad that Dumbledore, Hedwig, Fred, Lupin, and Tonks have to die!!!!!!!

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY felt sad when Snape died. So misunderstood. And he was actully a good guy!!!!!!!! And they only found out he was good until after he died!!!!!!! And hegwig..... that's just so sad..... espesialy because she did nothing to harm Voldemort!!!!!

I agree! The first is the best and after that they just get worse and worse. The second is okay but the first is definitely the best. I disagree that J.K. Rowling dosen't have any talent. I think she has a lot of it!!! What's more is that even though I'm 10 I've read the all of the books nearly three times. I don't like The Deathly Hallows either, except I do like the nineteen years later part where Harry reassures his son Albus Severus Potter that it will be alright if he's in Slytherin and the Sorting Hat takes your choice into account. I own the whole sequence and am presently more than halfway through the sixth book even though it's weird and not very good. Goodbye!

I think you're insulting a very good book. J K Rowling has heaps of talent. Just because you dont like the books does not mean everyone else hates them. They are beautifuly writen. I am one of her billions of fans.

I don't want to be rude, but I disagree with you. I think that J.K. Rowling had a lot of talent. Did you know that she came up with the story in a cafe while she was eating breakfast? I personally love all the Harry Potter books.

I think that the books just got worse and worse as they went along; the first was the best and the last was terrible.

I disagree. I think that the entire Harry Potter series is amazing and I think that J. K. Rowling is a very talented writer to have come up with such a unique story. But I guess we all have different opinions.

WHAT???!!! No offense, but I think J.K. Rowling is one of the most talented writers of all time, and not just because of Harry Potter. The way she uses language, descriptions, dialogue, it all feels so real and you feel like a part of the book. These books changed my life and I will always feel that they just a little bit belong inside of me.

i started in 3rd grade, when books 1-5 were out and was hooked! they are great! ( btw, i think her name is Joanne katheren. i may be wrong, but you gotta know both sides of the story!)

I don't know what J.K. stands fo, Gabrielle, but if you're right about it, are you sure she spells it Joanne Katheren? I've known (or at least read about) several Catherines, Catharines, Cathryns, Katherines ... you get the point. I may be wrong, but you gotta know all sides of the story!
