The Girl Who Could Fly
by Victoria ForesterA girl named Piper McCloud gets sent away to a school for kids with special abilities because she can fly. A genius boy at the school, who seems like a bully at first, is actually trying to help her. While she was there she found a pet cricket who could sing. It was a great book. If it sounds boring, you are wrong.

I wouldn't have read this book, had it not been recommended to me by a trusted friend. I was sceptical at first, but once I read it, had to re-read it multiple times!
Trust me when I say that this is a must-read!

Loved this book!! It reminded me of X-men, since the kids have special powers. I loved Sebastian the cricket... and Doctor Hellian, her backstory was pretty sad. Conrad was cool, and of course, Piper was amazing. I recommend this book for lovers of fantasy, and maybe a bit of sci-fi.

Finally, someone else who has read it! I LOVED this book so much! A friend suggested it to me cause she loved it. I read it, loved it, and suggested it to someone else, and THEY loved it, so yeah, it's a well loved book!
@ Kyra: It's actually on the cover of my copy described as "The oddest/sweetest mix of Little House on the Prairie and X-Men..." ~ Stephanie Meyer
But anyway, the book is awesome!

I've read this book and totally hated it. Sorry.
It's really scary and unreasonable. Maybe it's because I'm so imature.
